York City have been chosen to host a forthcoming England under-18 Schoolboy international against Scotland.

The game, which is organised by the English Schools' Football Association (ESFA), will take place at Bootham Crescent on Friday March 23rd, 2018, kick-off 7pm, and forms part of the Centenary Shield competition.

The ESFA has been the National Governing Body for Schools’ Football in England since 1904 and boasts a rich history of developing players and supporting talented schoolboys on their way into the professional game.

The squad for this game will consist of the best schools' footballers and feature only players who have represented their county or been nominated by their local County Schools' FA.

Tickets details will be announced in due course.
