Quinton's Delight As Town Get Back To Winning Ways

Brad Quinton was delighted with the result and performance of his Braintree side as they moved up to second in the Vanarama National League South table.

A 3-0 win for Town lifted them up the table and behind top spot only on goal difference, writes Tom Feaheny.

They defeated Bognor Regis Town with goals from Dernell Wynter after a minute followed by strikes from Karl Oliyide and Marcel Barrington.

"There was more energy about us right throughout the side, much better pass and movement and we could have scored more goals," Quinton told the club's website.

"I'm glad Darnell scored because he's been frustrating. I know what he can do but he has struggled and the goal gave him the ideal lift.

"I liked the football we played and we created several goal scoring chances.

"But fans must realise that we are still a young side and still learning and that all takes time."
