The New Boys Make Moves In Busy Week Of Transfers

More movement has happened this week so let’s waste no time in taking a little look at some of the deals done over the past seven days.

There’s always a couple of clubs that race out of the blocks looking to get their business done early - and some have already reeled in seven!

Fast starting Barnet and Eastbourne Borough haven’t stopped after a very productive early summer spree.

The Bees moved again, netting former Solihull Moors goalkeeper Nick Hayes and also have vital experienced with Sutton United’s Joe Kizzi also on board. They aren’t the only ones who have gone early.

Eastbourne also blazed an early trail and now their attack has been boosted by Alfie Pavey’s arrival and Hemel Hempstead are rivaling them for new recruits. Prolific 33-goal forward Ricardo German is the latest to arrive at Vauxhall Road.

Forest Green could be ones to watch in the National League - Cheltenham’s Liam Sercombe and Sean Long join the new arrivals.

Boreham Wood look like they mean business and want to bounce straight back. Ross Jenkins’ first signing is Johnny Goddard, who has left Slough Town after a fantastic season.

Chorley have had some bads news. Top erofrmer Justin Johnson has decided to move to pastures new and has completed a move to Macclesfield.

Tamworth will be playing in the top tier and they’ll be doing it with Dan Creaney and Kyle Finn, who have both re-signed.

Barrow have signed goalkeeper Wyll Stanway from Chester for an undisclosed fee - but he will be playing for a new manager after Peter Wild’s departure on Friday night,

The 23-year-old, who kept 19 clean sheets in 46 National League North appearances last season, said: "I'm absolutely delighted to sign for my hometown club.”

Sutton have made Wealdstone attacker Dillon De Silva theirs, while Darlington have confirmed the return of Joe Leesley while Geofrey Okonkwo is Chelmsford City's first summer signing after switching from Bowers & Pitsea.

More National League talent stepped up to the EFL this week as Southport starlet Tyler Walton gets his chance at Accrington after Doncaster moved for Joe Sbarra.
