Predator Pearce Heads Up A York Transfer Blitz

York City have gone on a weekend transfer blitz as they added four big signings - and make their promotion intentions crystal clear.

They raided Worthing for hot shot Ollie Pearce, with right-back Joe Felix also announced on Saturday.

Winger Ashley Nathaniel-George joins from Maidenhead United while Dorking goalkeeper Harrison Male also moves to Yorkshire.

Manager Adam Hinchelwood knows both Pearce and Felix well having managed the pair in the National League South last season before leaving for York.

He has won the race for Pearce, who makes the move after 46 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions for Worthing, winning the golden boot in the National League South.

After surviving the drop on the last day of the season, the Minstermen don’t plan on being at the wrong end of the table this time.

Both other clubs have made early moves, and you can check on all the latest transfers right here.
