Shaymen Move for Kosylo

By Steve Whitney

Vanarama National League North club FC Halifax Town announce that....

....they have come to an agreement with Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Nantwich Town for Matthew Kosylo to transfer to The Shay for an undisclosed fee.

Kosylo is an exciting winger and is the current NPL Premier Division young player of the year.

The 23-year-old joined the Dabbers in October 2014 from Droylsden.

He started out at Stockport County and also wore the colours of Ashton United, Vauxhall Motors and Hyde United.

Commenting on the transfer, Nantwich chairman Tony Davison said: “We are sorry to see Matty leave but he made it clear to me at the end of last season that he wanted to play at a higher level.

“Matty clearly impressed FC Halifax in our two-legged FA Trophy Semi-Final tie and they came calling in recent days.

“I have been delighted with his contribution to Nantwich Town over the past two years. This is in part down to the excellent work done by Phil Parkinson and his team, and we have developed great young players like Matty, Jon Moran and Elliot Osbourne who have all now stepped up to a higher level. We wish Matty well for the future at FC Halifax”.
