It's A Four-Some Saturday For Some As Top Teams Fire

There were a number of four-star showings on Saturday as the goals continued to flow across the National League divisions.

Leaders Notts County were one of the clubs to catch fire, easing past bottom side Torquay United.

There may have been no goal for Macaulay Langstaff but Ruben Rodriques is in form as well, and he was amongst the goalscorers at Meadow Lane.

It was Notts’ seventh league win in a row - the first time they have achieved that for 12 years.

Second place Wrexham just love playing at home and they were too good for Altrincham.

A stunning Paul Mullin goal was followed by an Ollie Palmer double, pictured. James Jones made it 4-0 12 minutes from time.

Dagenham & Redbridge also hit four as Wealdstone were well beaten, Junior Morais got two of them.

Chesterfield stay in touch. Jeff King scored again before Darren Oldaker made it safe at home to Boreham Wood.

Oldham Athletic thought they had done enough to grab a point at FC Halifax Town when Ben Tollitt fired home.

But five minutes from the end Rob Harker won it - and pushed the Shaymen further away from trouble.

Aldershot Town have now won three in a row, Tommy Willard keeps on scoring and he added to goals from Inih Effiong and Tyler Cordner in a classy 3-0 win at Dorking.

Nobody scored more than Chelmsford City on Saturday - they continued their great National League South start by thrashing Eastbourne Borough 5-0.

Braintree Town are in fifth, a 3-0 win at Hampton added to the Essex club’s growing confidence as Hisham Kasimu scored a brace for Farnborough as they saw off Oxford City.

Luke Wanadio’s winner for Dover Athletic made the long trip to Bath City worth it.

Ryan Blackman made the points safe for Concord Rangers against Chippenham as a Nana Owusu penalty clinched Dulwich Hamlet’s 2-1 win at St Albans City.

Taunton Town are so good at home, they hit Tonbridge Angels for four.

Devonte Aransibia’s penalty was enough for Welling United to beat Hungerford while Worthing recovered to take a point at home to Slough Town, 2-2 it ended.
