Guinea-Bissau International Re-Joins Whitehawk

Midfielder Arnaud Mendy has re-joined Whitehawk.

The 27-year-old 6`3” midfielder played for ALM Evreux and FC Rouen in his home country of France and began his career in England with Derby County, making his Championship debut in a 3-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday in 2009.

He later played for Macclesfield Town and Luton Town and originally joined the Hawks in the summer of 2015 after a season with Lincoln City.

He moved to league rivals Hamel Hempstead Town in the summer of 2016 along with current Billericay Town hot-shot Jake Robinson.

He played eighteen times for the Tudors before moving to Maltese side Naxxar Lions in September 2017.

Mendy, capped twice for Guinea-Bissau, was released by Naxxar earlier this month.
