North & South Title Talks Could Stop With Magic Monday!

By Sam Elliott

Tamworth’s moment could be fast approaching while Yeovil Town can take a huge step on Bank Holiday Monday and could even have a champagne moment themselves.

They may not have been able to quite get it wrapped up in March but only a technicality is keeping the Lambs from the title.

They may not even have to avoid defeat at Brackley Town to do it and will win the National League North if Chorley don’t win against Blyth Spartans.

There are some huge matches in the bid to squeeze into the play-offs - contenders Curzon Ashton and South Shields meet, and any slip up could prove closely with matches running down.

Alfreton Town also go to Chester with a home win seeing the Seals jump above the Reds and into the top seven.

At the other end we may say goodbye to Gloucester City if they don’t win at Peterborough Sports. Rushall Olympic have given themselves hope and face Boston United while Darlington tackle Warrington.

Yeovil Town can wrap up the National League South title this Bank Holiday weekend - but they need a lot to go their way.

A win at Weymouth in the 1pm kick-off means Chelmsford can't lose to Dover a few hours later. If the Clarets pick up a point or more, Yeovil it could be done in front of their fans against Worthing on Saturday.

There’s focus at both ends and Bath City know they really need to defeat Taunton Town with the play-off gap now three points.

The Peacocks have big problems and will be keeping a close eye on what happens between Dartford and Eastbourne Borough - the teams either side of them.

Aveley can put one hand on a play-off place if they all but end Havant & Waterlooville’s time in the divisions while top seven hunters Worthing and Hampton & RB look to book their place when they clash.
