Adam Keeps Wrexham At Arms Length As Top Two Surge Ahead

It is surely now a two horse race in the National League title chase as Notts County and Wrexham win again.

The leaders defeated rivals Chesterfield 2-1, Macaulay Langstaff and Adam Chicksen scored in front of the BT Sport cameras.

Wrexham are just relentless at home - they won for a 13th time in 13 games and went top for a few hours at least.

They survived a scare as they eventually beat Wealdstone 3-1, Paul Mullin again amongst the goals.

Rhys Browne recused Woking as he scored twice to peg back Boreham Wood.

Josh Rees’ double had Luke Garrard’s team on course for the points before the forward took over, sealing a 2-1 win.

Inih Effiong made an instant impact at Dagenham - his double did for Solihull Moors as the Daggers got back to winning ways after his move form Aldershot last week.

Ebbsfleet United win for a seventh game on the spin in the National League South.

Francis Amartey’s winner was enough for Slough Town at Hampton & RB.

Josh Parker scored again as Oxford City won for a fifth time in six, they eased to 3-0 victory against Welling United.

The game of the day came at Worthing as St Albans City won 5-4 - the winner arrived from Devante Stanley.

Elsewhere it was a great day for Hemel Hempstead, Tonbridge, Braintree Town, Dover Athletic and Farnborough.

It was a very good day for AFC Fylde in the National League North.

The Coasters won 3-0 at AFC Telford, Luke Charman got two goals.

Leaders King’s Lynn Town lost at home Chester, the goal came from Rhys Hughes and it lost the hosts top spot.

Title hopefuls Darlington were also defeated, losing 3-1 at out of form Boston United.

Brackley Town couldn’t close the gap - a goals from Connor Hall earned them a 1-1 draw at St James Park.

Reiss McNally ended Spennymoor’s great home win - Kidderminster Harriers left with a 2-1 victory.

Tom Peers scored twice as Curzon Ashton won a thriller with Gloucester City 4-3.

Harrison Hopper put the seal on Bradford PA’s important 3-1 win over nine man Leamington.
