Alabi for Chester

...Chester FC after having his contract with Sky Bet Championship side Ipswich Town cancelled by mutual consent earlier this week.

The 21-year-old joined the Tractor Boys in the summer following his release by Stoke City.

Whilst at the Britannia Stadium, Alabi had loan spells out with Scunthorpe, Mansfield Town, Forest Green Rovers and Accrington Stanley.

He made one first-team appearance for Ipswich, scoring in August's 4-1 Capital One Cup win over Doncaster Rovers.

He also had a three-game loan spell with Chester`s league rivals Grimsby Town but failed to score.
