What's On Offer Today In The National League South On Saturday?

By Sam Elliott

There are massive matches wherever you look in the National League South this weekend.

Few are bigger than what’s in prospect at the Beveree.

The joint second teams clash as Billericay Town head to Hampton & Richmond - Dean Brennan’s first league match in charge of the Blues.

But it’s Gary McCann’s team in incredible form. The Beavers have won all their last five matches as they look good for a third promotion push in a row.

It’s intriguing also at Plainmoor as Torquay United welcome new manager Gary Johnson - and leaders Woking.

In our special feature match across social media, it promises to be a fantastic game.

Two more form sides meet. Bath City play Welling and fans can pay what they want to see it.

Chelmsford City must sort their home form out. Manager Rod Stringer knows it’s undermining their title challenge but St Albans are back in form again, winning their last three.

Weston are the only side without a league win so far and they could do without a trip to Dartford.

Concord Rangers have lost pace at the top in September but they can end an up-and-down month on a high with a home win over Truro City.

Hemel Hempstead have their first National League South game without boss Brennan. They take on inconsistent Oxford City with midfielder Jordan Parkes a part of the management team in temporary charge.

East Thurrock boss John Coventry says this is the biggest test he’s faced as the Rocks struggle. A home win over Wealdstone can lift his mood.

Dulwich Hamlet welcome Chippenham - but Gavin Rose be warned, the Bluebirds have won their last three and are flying.

Slough and Hungerford clash in a local game as the old Southern League foes meet again.

Gloucester City have secures new investment - can they end a good week with victory against Eastbourne Borough?
