What's In Store Tonight Across The National League

By Sam Elliott

We’re heading towards crunch time - so what will Tuesday night tell us as it all gets rather serious at both ends of the table.

Teams down the bottom end of the National League are starting to get twitchy - a big number of them are in action in midweek.

AFC Fylde know time is fast running out as they look to make up an eight point gap between themselves and safety.

Jim Bentley won't be in any doubt that his team will need to find their best performance of the season as they welcome Notts County.

Maidenhead United
aren’t safe - but they can really give their season a kick by beating Ebbsfleet, and dragging them further towards the drop.

Dagenham have really picked up under new manager Daryl McMahon but still aren’t clear of trouble. Barnet - still hunting down the play-offs - won’t make life any easier for them at the Hive.

Aldershot can smell salvation but like a number of clubs there’s no gap yep appeared.

They have their work cut out at home to Boreham Wood, who haven’t lost in the National League since October.

Boston United are looking for win number seven in a row - and to add some more intrigue to the National League North title race.

They will move to within three points of leaders York City, but they have to get past Gateshead at York Street first of all.

Curzon Ashton can put distance between themselves and the bottom two with victory over AFC Telford. A 2pm pitch inspection will meanwhile determine if Kettering vs Brackley can go ahead.

Wealdstone know the incredible reward on offer if they beat Chelmsford City.

Yet another home win for the Stones will see them take a commanding nine point lead - they will still also have two games in hand.

Billericay are unbeaten at home, Oxford City visit Essex while Hampton & RB take their impressive recent away record to Tonbridge who could pull three points clear of trouble if they win the re-arranged game.

Chippenham
are also level on points with the bottom two but they will know three home points against Concord Rangers will really help their survival bid.
