Weather Plays Havoc With The National League Programme

By Sam Elliott

The weather has hit some of Tuesday night’s matches with clubs left frustrated by the elements.

Rain, wind and snow has battered the country for days and National League football has paid the price.

Boston United
were hoping to close the gap on the National League North leaders, but a waterlogged pitch means a new date must be found for their game with Darlington.

Also off is Alfreton Town’s home match with promotion-hunting Gateshead.

On Monday, there was no luck for King’s Lynn Town as a pre-match downpour saw their visit to Gloucester City postponed.

As ever, we advise you check clubs’ social media channels before setting off.
