Unibet's National League North And South Preview

The finishing line may not quite be in full sight, but it’s beginning to appear on the horizon.

The first games of April signal the one month countdown is on - and while every win means the world, defeat could spell disaster!

As always, Unibet are on top of things in the National League South and North on Saturday.

Farnborough vs Worthing - National League South

That dotted line. Life’s all good if you’re safely above it, but below? The fear of a summer packed full of what ifs is always on the mind.

Good job there’s still time to get on its right side, then!

Worthing sit below Farnborough, who occupy seventh spot, only due to the fact they’ve let in a few more goals.

The Rebels are over their rocky spell after defeating play-off rivals Havant & Waterlooville but be warned - Boro have won their last three and no team has a better defensive record.

One to watch: Mason Bloomfield (Farnborough)

Chorley vs King’s Lynn Town - National League North

Tommy Widdrington and his players were as surprised as the rest of us on Tuesday night.

Leaders AFC Fylde’s home battering by Blyth Spartans was easily the shock result of the season so far - and it keeps Lynn very much in the hunt.

But they’ve still got work to do, and victory at Chorley is needed with time ticking away.

It’s still a big ask for the 2020 champions, five points behind having played a game more.

But that result in midweek threw them a lifeline - and told everyone there’s plenty of twists and turns to come yet.

Problem is, only Brackley Town have lost fewer times at home than Chorley.

And with only seven away wins so far - that’s four less than Fylde - King’s Lynn will be well aware they need to come up with something special on Saturday afternoon.

There’s also the little fact that the Magpies badly need the points to secure a play-off birth, as well.

They’ve got only a two point cushion and a number of clubs are loitering with intent just outside the top seven ready to pounce on any mistakes.

One to watch: Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain (King’s Lynn Town)
