There's A Big Night Ahead In The National League North

By Tom Scott

After the excitement of the cup leaves town, it's back to business for a few sides in the National League North tonight.

Yesterday's draw threw out some intriguing ties for our teams but attention now moves to league action once again.

Kidderminster Harriers have had a torrid time at Aggborough so far this season - with just one win to their name there.

That is music to the ears of tonight's opponents Farsley Celtic who are chasing a fifth-straight win on the road.

Hereford's new manager bounce stalled at Bradford (Park Avenue) last weekend - that after crashing out of the FA Cup - but Russell Slade will want an immediate recovery.

They head to Southport who are hurting after Altrincham inflicted just their second home defeat on the campaign.

And obviously, FA Cup magic is still alive and well for a number of National League sides.

Barnet go again against Potters Bar after a 101st minute equaliser on Saturday - Fleetwood Town await the winner.

Alan Julian's heroics mean Billericay and Sutton face-off again while another all-National League tie happens between Eastleigh and Welling.

Wealdstone host Maidenhead United with an enticing tie against Rotherham in the balance.

Woking love the FA Cup, and a tie with Notts County are up next if they can beat Ebbsfleet United.

Elsewhere, the winner of Wrexham and Chesterfield will entertain Rochdale at home.
