The Draw For FA Cup Second Qualifying Round Is Made

The draw for the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup has this afternoon been released.

All 48 National League North and South clubs have now entered the competition and have discovered which sides stand in their way.

The ties will take place on the weekend of Saturday September 17 and there’s a lot to look forward to.

Last season’s big headline makers Kidderminster Harriers return - and after coming so close to knocking West Ham United out in January, they start with a home game against Tamworth.

Chorley are hoping for another great FA Cup adventure and have a tricky looking start at Liversedge.

There’s an all-National League North tie as Darlington welcome Southport while Curzon Ashton have an intriguing match up with FC United of Manchester to look forward to.

Two rivals in the National League South go head-to-head - Dover Athletic have their work cut out at Ebbsfleet, who have won all their games this season.

Farnborough need to beware a Hayes & Yeading revenge mission after pipping them to promotion in the play-offs last term.

Slough Town and Worthing meet while Braintree Town have an Essex derby with Heybridge Swifts.

Winners of the games will receive £3,375 from the prize fund,

Defeated sides won’t go away empty handed with the FA writing a cheque for £1,125.
