Peter is a fan of the club, attending all home and away games. But it’s the thankless – and mostly unnoticed by officials and other supporters – task he carries out that makes him a worthy recipient of this award, and that is picking up litter.
He does this after every home match, rain or shine, and always with a smile on his face. Volunteers at clubs in the National League cover a wide range of varying tasks.
But it’s easy to forget the importance of this task and without Peter, his Club would have to use vital funds to employ someone to do this, and they are so grateful for his help and commitment.
