Pavey Makes Dartford Return After Short Wings Stay

Dartford have confirmed the signing of striker Alfie Pavey.

The 21-year-old striker returns to Princes Park after a previous loan spell in the second half of last season and having been at Welling United at the start of this season.

Pavey signed for the Wings after being released by Millwall in the summer.

He appeared for the Lions` first-team whilst at the New Den.

He is a local lad and attracted the attentions of Millwall by being prolific at youth and academy level with Maidstone United.

He once scored over 100 goals in a season and continued to score goals in the National League on loan at Aldershot Town and Bromley. He also played for Hampton & Richmond Borough on loan in the National South League as well as the Darts.

Due to FA Regulations, Pavey is unavailable for the game tomorrow night, but is available for Saturday’s game at home to Oxford City.

Dartford manager Tony Burman said: “I would like to welcome Alfie back to the club.

“Alfie has successfully worked with us before and he now returns to the club where I hope he can show his full potential”.
