Nine North And South Games Add To The Weekend Drama

By Sam Elliott

It’s not all about the FA Cup this weekend - there’s no fewer than nine league games coming up across the divisions.

All games this weekend can be streamed on National League TV - buy your Match Pass here from as little as £9.50.

Spennymoor Town, pictured, may be without a manager but they could hit top spot in the Vanarama National League North although they’ll have to do what few can - win at Brackley Town.

If they don’t, South Shields can take advantage of leaders Tamworth’s distraction as they take on Warrington Town.

Two of the sides in the bottom four meet with two new managers needing the win. Josh Gowling’s Darlington host King’s Lynn Town, who are now managed by Adam Lakeland.

Southport have won four of their six league games under new boss Jim Bentley and they want another as Gloucester City pay them a visit.

Peterborough Sports have had a tough start and sit second from bottom but Banbury United haven’t - three points would aid their play-off push.

Blyth Spartans could end up in the top seven this weekend but must beat Bishop’s Stortford first.

In the Vanarama National League South, St Albans City know a two-goal win at Farnborough will be good enough to send them into a promotion position.

Alan Dowson returns to Hampton & RB as Dartford look to build on their brilliant win over Chippenham Town last weekend.

There’s a big game down the bottom too as Tonbridge Angels and Weymouth go to war with just a single point separating the strugglers.
