Truro City have set out ambitious plans to transform the area surrounding their stadium.

At its core, the scheme – being dubbed the Milestone Project - envisions a mixed-use stadium that supports activity well beyond matchday.

The club hopes to become a hub for the city, driving footfall, jobs and investment across Truro and the broader Cornwall region.

Among the proposals are a rebuilt clubhouse, an expanded stadium, new housing, a community centre, a 3G pitch, and space for health, employment, retail and hospitality uses.

The club, along with the local Council, are now in talks with potential developers, investors and occupiers to bring the vision to life, aiming to generate meaningful, lasting value for both Truro and the wider Langarth area.

The club say it could also hand the club and its charitable arm, the Truro City Community Trust, a sustainable revenue stream for years ahead.

Chief executive Robin Karkeek said: “Truro City is on a journey of continual improvement in everything we do,” said the club’s chief executive officer Robin Karkeek.

“Part of that journey is the aspiration to provide a solid foundation for the club’s future success, both on the pitch and in the community.

“We have reached a real ‘Milestone’ opportunity for development in and around the Truro City Stadium site, that will underpin the needs of the club for future generations.

“We still have a long way to go, but with the continued support of fans, sponsors and stakeholders, working with Treveth Holdings and Cornwall Council we will get there.

“Truro City Football Club is an exciting place to be right now, and we are driven to succeed.”
