Slough Town and Southport are both looking for new direction following a challenging first four weeks of the new campaign.
The Enterprise National League South Rebels have parted ways with Alan Julian after Saturday’s home loss to Braintree, their sixth defeat from six.
Johnny Goddard, Ryan Case and Henry Ochieng will take the team at Salisbury. Assistant Donovan Chislett also departs
Slough CEO Ashley Smith said: “Alan is an extraordinary individual who brought complete professionalism and deep commitment to our club every single day. The level of care and dedication he showed to the players, staff, and community was remarkable.
“I am genuinely gutted that things haven't worked out the way we all hoped. Alan and Don leave with our sincere respect and gratitude, and I wish them both the absolute best in their next chapter.”
Neil Danns is also looking for a new job after he called an end to his 15 months at the Haig Avenue helm.
Expectation was high this season after Danns guided the club to within a match of Wembley in the FA Trophy last April.
But Port have taken five points from their seven games and lost 2-0 at Spalding yesterday, their third loss in succession.
Mark Duffy will take over and Danns will help with the transition and a club statement read: “Neil has given an enormous amount to Southport and this club has meant a great deal to him.
“Throughout his time as manager, he has represented Southport with dignity, care and a genuine desire to move the club forward. He has built real relationships with the players, staff and supporters and has always wanted the very best for everyone connected with the Club.
“We are incredibly grateful for everything Neil has given us and, on a personal level, for the way he has conducted himself throughout his time here.
“He leaves the managerial role with our genuine thanks, affection and respect and will always be very welcome at Southport.”
