Wembley Stadium is the next stop for four teams as the National League U11s Cup finalists were confirmed ahead of next week's Promotion Final.

What began as a nationwide competition involving 49 National League clubs has engaged more than 900 schools and over 7,000 young players, all taking part in locally delivered tournaments before progressing through regional events and highly competitive semi-finals.

Four schools will be represented at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 10 May ahead of the Enterprise National League Promotion Final.

In the Mixed category, Darlington (St Augustine's) came through a tense penalty shootout against Altrincham to book their place in the final.

They will place Hemel Hempstead Town (South Hill Primary) at Wembley after they narrowly beat Torquay United 1-0 in their final last month.

In the Girls category, Tonbridge Angels (Discovery School Primary) also triumphed in a penalty shootout after drawing 0-0 with Torquay United.

They will face Hartlepool United (Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School) under the Arch after they won 2-0 against Chester in their final last month.

All four finalists will be looking to follow in the footsteps of AFC Fylde (Heyhouses Endowed Church of England Primary School) and Altrincham (Stamford Park Primary School) who won their respective finals last season.

The National League U11s Cup presents an incredible opportunity for a chance to play at Wembley Stadium before gracing the famous steps to the Royal Box to collect a medal and trophy.

Everyone at the National League Trust would like to thank everyone who has participated in the U11s Cup so far this season with special thanks going to the clubs who have hosted regional tournaments.
