The Magpies' have been confirmed as finalists in two categories - with Maidenhead United FC Community Trust confirmed in the Best Football Community Scheme category.
The club itself has also been nominated in the Sponsorship or Partnership of the Year category for its pioneering partnership with front-of-shirt sponsor CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
Maidenhead United FC Community Trust serves the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead - the club say they are using football to bring people together, improve health and strengthen community bonds.
The work of the Trust is extensive - providing youth football, walking football, disability sessions and well being programmes as well as direct support for vulnerable individuals.
A recent report from independent research estimated the social value of the Trust's work as over five million pounds.
Helen Preedy, Maidenhead United FC Community Trust Manager, said: “We’re thrilled that the Football Business Awards have recognised the incredible breadth of work happening across our community.
“Our staff and volunteers work tirelessly every day, running everything from junior football to disability sessions, walking football to chair based exercise, and individual wellbeing support for those who need it most.
“We’re proud of the impact we make and grateful to everyone who supports the Community Trust as we continue to champion the physical and mental wellbeing of people across Maidenhead.”
