Enterprise National League South: The weekend preview

There’s 22 games inside 72 hours coming your way - so things can change in a blink of an eye.

Dagenham & Redbridge hope not after they built up a four point lead after four games. But they have to contend with a long term injury to midfielder Archie Tamplin ahead of possibly their biggest test yet.

The leaders are at Truro City, who have claimed two wins and a draw from their three matches, and a yet to concede a goal.

Horsham proudly sit second after impressing in the opening week. They’re at home Farnham Town with a cluster of clubs sitting on seven points just.

Two of them meet. Weston-super-Mare who are kicking themselves after losing at home to Dover and take a trip to Hemel Hempstead ready to put that right.

Maidstone United are getting better after a slow start. Salisbury stand in their way tomorrow, while AFC Totton look for their third win from four when Chesham United visit.

Three fancied clubs who had hoped for a more encouraging first few weeks need to get going.

Chelmsford City may be yet to lose but they’re also yet to win - Mark Cooper wants to put that right at home to Maidenhead United.

Dorking Wanderers aren’t yet in the rhythm. They will be hopeful of kick starting themselves with a visit to Walton & Hersham, who are looking up at the rest after a challenging introduction to Step 2.

Torquay United’s five points from a possible 12 sees them lagging behind already. It’s so early still but they won’t want the gap to get bigger - the Gulls welcome Hampton & RB, who scored five last time out.

That was against Slough Town, who are yet to claim a point. Alan Julian’s team host Folkestone Invicta.

Elsewhere Billericay Town and Tonbridge Angels - both comfortable with their early results - meet sitting just outside the top seven.

Dover Athletic play Braintree Town hoping for a win to fire them into the promotion picture.
