Barrow vs. Bromley

Barrow’s incredible story is now about to be played out in front of the nation as the league leaders attempt to show everyone what they’re all about.

Quite simply nobody was tipping Ian Evatt’s team for the title back in the summer.

With a modest budget and little in the way of head-turning signings, fans were hoping their team could put together a play-off push. How wrong we all were.

Barrow’s lead is not only three points, but tellingly they have two games in hand on everyone else. So far in 2020, they have scored 17 times, and not let in a single goal.

They beat Ebbsfleet United 7-0 last time out in the National League. Then they beat FC United 7-0 last week in the FA Trophy.

But in Bromley, they face a real test. Fourth in the table, they will close the gap to two points with a win at Holker Street in front of the cameras.

Will the Bluebirds be sitting pretty at the top of the tree on Saturday night or will there be a big title twist coming?

Ebbsfleet United v Harrogate Town

- Only leaders Barrow have a better away record than Dover - Andy Hessenthaler’s team winning eight times on the road, claiming 26 points so far.
- County have lost just one game at home since August’s defeat to Barnet. Nine-goal striker Kyle Wootton have just signed a new contract.
- Dover have lost only one one in five but were thrashed 3-0 at Bromley in their last away game.
