Jansen Calls For Chorley To Keep Going For Play-Offs

By Tom Feaheny

Chorley boss Matt Jansen says his side know a good run could see them in the top seven places by the end of the season.

The Magpies are next up against York City a team currently in the play-off places.

Despite losing last time to Boston United, there are enough points to be gained.

"We started slowly in the last match, we can't get down hearted about it or frustrated," Jansen told the club's website.

"We need to build in the next nine games."

With the gap currently at more than three points but with games in hand, Jansen says focusing on themselves if all that matters.

"I know what we want and need to do, if we keep playing like we do, we can win a lot of games, go on a run.

"There are a lot of games coming up, we win six or seven and then we are right up there."
