Half Full Not Good Enough For Daggers - Manager Still

Dagenham and Redbridge must perform for the duration of matches says boss John Still after their disappointing draw at lowly Solihull Moors.

The Daggers rescued a point with a last minute equaliser to draw 2-2 but will see this result as a missed opportunity - watch match highlights here.

Still's side have only lost twice this season but four draws on the road have somewhat hindered their points tally.

Dagenham are also the highest scorers in the division with Corey Whitely top scoring with eight although it was Mason Bloomfield who opened the scoring and then Jake Howells scored their late leveller, direct from a corner.

“We had more than enough chances to win and it was a lucky goal at the end, I’ll be honest, but we deserved it," Still said.

“I thought we were poor in the first half. They worked really hard and shut us down, but we never moved the ball quick enough.

“Quite rightly, we were behind at half time; I thought we deserved to be behind.

“Second half, it was one-way traffic and we played how I know we can play. We can’t do that for half a game, though; we have to do it all the time and it’s disappointing we didn’t.

“If we play well and get beat, I don’t worry about that, it’s football, but to have played the way we did in the first half, it’s not good enough."
