Howes Delighted As Landmarks Are Achieved

Goalkeeper Sam Howes says making his 50th appearance made Hampton & Richmond Borough's fifteenth game unbeaten in the league ven more special.

It has been a fine few months for the side, who gained another home victory, writes Tom Feaheny.

Their latest win saw them defeat East Thurrock United 5-1, saw them move to level on points with top spot.

"I'm very pleased with the landmark and also to get the three points for the lads, to stretch the winning run to ten games is perfect for us," Howes said.

"Everyone dug in as a squad we are on top of the world at the moment, if we can keep this run going who knows where it will lead us to for the end of the season.

"It is my dad's 50th so it's even better to have got the win on his birthday."
