Chester`s Disappointing Start Continues Against Ten-Man Moors

By Steve Whitney

Chester FC`s disappointing start to the new Vanarama National League campaign continued on Tuesday night as they were beaten 2-0 by a Solihull Moors outfit who had only won once as well before kick-off at the Automated Technology Group Stadium.

Oladapo Afolayan have Moors a 16th minute lead when he beat Alex Lynch from the edge of the box after picking up a good pass from new loan signing from Brentford, Zaine Westbrooke's pass.

But midway through the second period, Westbrooke`s debut turned sour when he was sent-off with a straight red card for a poor challenge on Wade Joyce.

However, on 77 minutes – just 3 minutes after going down to ten-men - Afolayan scored his second goal from close range to confirm victory.
