Chairboys Recall de Havilland From Shots Loan

SkyBet League Two side Wycombe Wanderers have recalled defender Will de Havilland from his loan with Aldershot Town.

The Chairboys have suffered an injury crisis with defenders.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth told his club`s website: “Injuries are just starting to hurt us at the moment so we’ve made the decision to recall Will to give us another option in defence.

“He did really well in his first spell with Aldershot at the start of the season, but picked up a knock and hasn’t had much game time in his second spell there.

“There are plenty of league matches coming up as well as the Checkatrade Trophy and FA Cup games, so Will should have the opportunity to get minutes under his belt.”

The 22-year-old made eight appearances for The Shots across two spells at the EBB Stadium since joining in August.
