There Are Plenty Of Good Friday Easter Crackers In Store

By Sam Elliott

Easter has arrived - so who will have a cracking Bank Holiday and which teams will be left with egg on their faces?

The title race is gripping and BT Sport will be bringing you every kick that counts on Friday afternoon.

Their cameras are at Leyton Orient for their huge game with Harrogate Town. But what about the rest?

If there is a slip up in E10, Salford City will reclaim top spot - and take control of the title race - if they win at Boreham Wood.

But don’t forget Solihull Moors. They have Orient at home on Monday and have a huge part to play.

Tim Flowers will know a win at Bromley on Friday and they will make it very, very interesting for themselves.

If Wrexham want to play a part in the thick of it they really need to win all their final three games and rely on others to peg back the sides ahead of them.

Bryan Hughes’ team do have two home games out of their final three, starting with Sutton United - who now have to win or their play-off dream could die before Easter Monday.

AFC Fylde will confirm their place if they win at home to Barnet.

If results go for them Eastleigh could also be celebrating a big achievement under Ben Strevens. Victory at Dagenham may be enough for the Spitfires to book their top seven place with two games to go.

Ebbsfleet fell to the Daggers’ blade last weekend.

Anything but three points for Garry Hill’s side at Havant will make it very difficult for their season to go into May for a fourth year running.

Gateshead can still do it mathematically but they have to beat Chesterfield and hope for miracles elsewhere.

Dover vs Aldershot looked a huge game a few months ago but with the Whites safe and the Shots suck, there will be very mixed emotions in Kent.

Maidstone United and Braintree Town both want to avoid being the team who finishes bottom. The winner at the Gallagher will take steps to stop that happening.

Barrow didn’t require a late escape act this season but Ian Evatt isn’t happy that standards have slipped. Can they perk the boss up with three points at Maidenhead?

Hartlepool and FC Halifax both want a top half finish and they meet at Victoria Park.
