No More Maguire-Drew For Still's Dagenham

Dagenham & Redbridge have not managed to keep hold of flying winger Jordan Maguire-Drew for a second season.

The Brighton player shone on loan for John Still’s team last season and the experienced manager had hoped to keep hold of him.

But the teenager’s 15 goals last season alerted a number of Sky Bet League Two clubs and Albion did business with Vanarama National League champions Lincoln City.

Danny Cowley thinks the winger will help establish the club in the Football League again after agreeing with Brighton to borrow the player for 2017-18.

"He has an unbelievable left foot," the Imps manager said.

"He'll help us improve as we lacked a bit of left-sided balance last season."

Still is hopeful of adding to his squad and more loan deals on the cards.
