Losing Runs Will Happen: Daggers' Unmoved Taylor

You won’t find Peter Taylor pressing any panic buttons despite Dagenham’s fine recovery going a little stale in the past few weeks.

After racing back into form in mid-September, the East London side have now lost their last three.

On Saturday they were under par as out-of-form Ebbsfleet United ran our convincing 3-1 winners. Watch highlights here.

Taylor has always maintained his young team will make mistakes but back in the bottom four, they need to start picking up results.

Next up it’s an awkward trip to Gateshead, followed by two games against title contenders Wrexham and Harrogate Town.

Taylor said: “We were disappointed, I don’t think we deserved to win the game - we were second best but that happens in football.

“We got ourselves back into the game but it wasn’t enough in the end. We’ve got to learn our lessons and move on quickly.

“With more inexperienced players, you are going to go on bad runs but we’ve not lost faith in what we’re doing. We’re young and we’re learning - the fans hopefully can see that.

“We’re not paying too much attention to the table but clearly we want to get that winning feeling back into the players again as soon as we can.”
