Housham revealed that his squad is taking shape with the latest additions that have been made.

"I am really pleased to say that three have agreed to the terms that we have agreed, those names should be revealed by the end of the week.

"We are not a million miles away in terms of our preparation and I am delighted with the work we have been able to do, the lads who are coming in have settled in well and know a lot about us."

Housham had just watched his side lose 2-0 to a strong Leeds United team, with the Championship team scoring a goal in each half. He was pleased with what he saw.

"It was a good workout for our lads, there were a lot of positives for us.

"We have played a lot of the lads, from the the squad, the trialists and the youth team and that is very pleasing to see how many are getting to the stage where they can play 70-90 minutes already."

The manager also picked out Ross Durrant who impressed during that defeat, with a number of impressive saves.

"He has played in this league before, he was at Nottingham Forest, he came in highly recommended for us, I was really pleased with how he played. For me he is also a talker and a leader, they are good traits to have."
