Frecklington Knows Importance of Trinity Game

Gainsborough Trinity's boss Dave Frecklington says his side know how easy it is to slip back to a losing run ahead of facing FC United of Manchester.

Trinity are the hosts as they take on another team who are just outside the relegation zone, writes Tom Feaheny.

"You look and it is easy for a team to start a winless run, we have lost in the cup and then the league so it is really important you break that as soon as you can," Frecklington told the club's website.

"We took positives from the Brackley game despite losing, we did really well for 75 minutes, it's not an easy team to face, we adapted our game, it was just a mistake that cost us."

"Having a player like Liam King in is a big positive, he slotted in during the last game and will get better the more he trains with us."
