Davies Adds Former Preston Defender To His Squad

Southport have completed the signing of full-back Clive Smith.
The 20-year-old has played in the Scottish Premiership with St Johnstone having progressed through the youth set-up at Preston North End.
Smith signed his first professional contract at Deepdale last January, having trained and played during pre-season with the first-team as he made his way through the ranks.
He spent time on loan last season with Evo-Stik League North side Bamber Bridge before finishing the campaign with St Johnstone and was released by Preston in the summer.
The club has received international clearance for Smith and he is now available to be added to Kevin Davies’ squad.
