King’s Lynn Town also recovered well - a goal down at Yeovil Town, they earned a fantastic three points with a great second half showing with Munashe Sundire winning it five minutes from time.

Kyle Wootton rescued a point for Notts County, finally breaking the resistance of ten man Torquay United. Danny Wright had put the Gulls ahead.

In the National League North, AFC Fylde’s fantastic start continued - they saw off Hereford 4-1, pictured.

Nick Haughton scored twice to continue his sensational first few weeks of the season.

York City have have had an opening to forget, they lost for a third time as they went down at home to impressive Brackley Town, Kevin Wilkin’s team winning three on the spin.

Gloucester City went ahead against Guiseley but the Lions bit back at triumphed 2-1.

Kidderminster had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Southport, Marcus Carver making a point for the Port.

Boston United got their first win as they recovered from a set-back to beat Curzon Ashton 2-1.

In the National League South, Dartford continue to set the standard.

A 2-0 win at Dulwich Hamlet was secured by Josh Hill and Tyriqe Hyde.

Shaun Jeffers’ early nine minute hat-trick inspired St Albans City - they thrashed Welling United 5-0.

Maidstone United beat Billericay thanks to Alfie Pavey’s penalty.

Dom Poleon scored again as Ebbsfleet United were too strong for slow starting Hemel Hempstead.

Dorking Wanderers drew 2-2 with Braintree Town, Corcoran Rangers saw off Hampton while Bath City’s winning start is over - they lost at home to Chelmsford City.
