What Happened On Saturday In The National League

By Sam Elliott

It was another eventful day around the grounds on the day we saw action return in the National League South and North.

Alex Reid’s first-half goal was enough for Stockport County as they won the live BT Sport match with Yeovil Town 1-0.

The National League's only unbeaten away record has gone as Weymouth beat Bromley.

The Terras continue their good recent form - and so did Andrew Dallas.

He hit a double to follow up a great January and secure an excellent 2-1 victory for Brain Stock’s side.

Solihull Moors left it late to claim a dramatic point at Eastleigh.

Joe Sbarra levelled up a Tyrone Barnett goal to claim a draw for Jimmy Shan’s team.

The same thing happened at Wrexham but it was Dagenham who were deadly in time added on.

With 95 minutes on the clock Dean Rance plundered a point, it ended 2-2 after the Dragons held a 2-0 lead.

Tyrone Marsh - pictured - marked his return to Boreham Wood with a winner as Luke Garrard’s play-off chasers won 1-0 at Maidenhead.

There were plenty of goals in the National League South as the division returned.

Jason Prior looks like he is refreshed - he scored twice as Dorking Wanderers won 3-1 at Hemel Hempstead.

Dartford will be happy, even if they did drop two points at home to struggling Welling United.

The leaders battled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 as Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong grabbed the leveller. The Darts still lead the way.

A young Billericay Town side did themselves proud as they drew 2-2 with title-chasing St Albans City.

Hampton just love life on the road - they made it seven away wins in a row, a 3-0 victory at Tonbridge was impressive for Gary McCann.

Joe Rollinson got the decisive goal as Eastbourne Borough kept up their promotion push with a battling 3-2 victory over Hungerford Town.

Only one game survived in the National League North.

Brackley Town won for a sixth time in seven matches - James Armson and Wes York scored as Kevin Wilkin’s team won 2-1 against Chorley.
