The table toppers beat second place York City to take control of the title race.

Prolific Adam Marriott got the winning goal as an incredible crowd of 4,019 watched on.

Chester slipped further off the pace after they drew 0-0 at Leamington.

Brackley, though, keep up the pressure - Kevin Wilkin’s side won 2-1 at Bradford PA. Lee Ndlovu and James Armson were on target.

Darlington stormed into the top seven with a fourth win in a row.

A simple 3-0 win at home to Alfreton means nobody wants to play the Quakers right now. Justin Donawa put the seal on another good day for the North East club.

Boston United are also in a good place - they won 3-1 at Southport. Andi Thanoj was at the double for the Pilgrims.

Guiseley are sixth. They won 2-1 at home to Gloucester City - Kaine Felix and a Gabriel Johnson effort handed the Lions another three points.

Gateshead keep up the pressure - they won 2-0 at home to in-form Altrincham.

Ashley Chambers got another goal as Kidderminster came from behind the draw 1-1 with Spennymoor.

Curzon Ashton had a great day in front of goal as they beat Farsley 4-0.
