Ward Returns To Hungerford On Loan

Goalkeeper Lewis Ward, 20, has joined Hungerford Town on loan from SkyBet Championship side Reading for his second spell with the Crusaders.

He gained valuable experience at Bulpit Lane under Bobby Wilkinson last season following previous loan spells with Icelandic club Fylkir FC and then Margate.

Ward, who signed a new professional contract recently, was part of the Reading team that won the Under-21 Premier League Cup last season.

On the international scene he has also been part of several training camps abroad with the England set-up.
