3-3 Bromley 22/11 By Stefan Baisden

Bromley mounted a stirring late fightback to earn a thrilling 3-3 draw with Maidenhead United at York Road.

Charles Watts reports: The Magpies looked to be cruising to the win when an Anthony Thomas goal midway through the second half put them 3-1 up.

But Bromley substitutes Warren McBean and Hakeen Araba came off the bench to ensure the visitors went home with a point.

The game stared in spectacular style with Leon McKenzie drilling a low shot into the bottom corner to put Bromley in front in the second minute.

Martel Powell equalised immediately for the hosts, however, drilling a stunning 25 yard drive into the top corner.

The superb Powell then produced some fine wing play to set up Daniel Brown for Maidenhead's second midway through the first half.

Thomas looked to have wrapped things up in the second half when his cross from the left evaded everyone before finding the net on 67 minutes.

But a McBean volley on 73 minutes and Araba header 10 minutes from time drew the visitors level and turned the contest on its head.

Both teams could have won it in injury time but Alex Wall headed against the bar for United while Araba prodded an effort inches wide at the other end.
