The penultimate weekend has so much riding on it at both ends of both the tables in the National League North and South.

As we enter the season’s climax, Unibet of course have every angle covered.

Braintree vs Eastbourne Borough - National League South

We had one battle of the teams either side of the play-off dotted line last weekend, and now we’ve got another.

Braintree are involved again and they need this one to go better than their trip to Worthing did a week ago.

The Iron have a two point cushion on the clubs outside but they know Eastbourne are closing fast - and that they’ll overtake them with a win at Cressing Road on Saturday.

The Sports have won five from seven now and they know there’s always one team who comes late to the party and ends up having all the fun!

Darlington vs King’s Lynn Town - National League North

There’s nothing like a match that means so much to both sides at a critical point in the season.

King’s Lynn Town may be leaders but they know a defeat could be really damaging with AFC Fylde at home to Leamington, before they play their game in hand at Curzon Ashton in midweek.

To keep things in their own hands, they really need to return from the North East with maximum points.

But troubled Darlo have a promotion agenda of their own but must rediscover their composure and fast.

They are now out of the top seven after Tuesday’s home lesson, served up by Curzon who they allowed into the race.

Fact is, ten clubs are chasing the four available play-off positions - and there’s two points between Scarborough in fifth and Buxton in tenth.

Lynn have cast aside the managerial chaos to win five from five and are undefeated in eight on their travels.

Darlington haven’t won in eight games, taking just four points from a possible 24 and they desperately need to put that right before it’s too late.

What a weekend we’ve got in store!
