Unibet's National League North And South Preview

By Sam Elliott

It’s not just more important points up for grabs in midweek in the titanic title tassels - there’s a little bit of history, as well.

On Wednesday, BT Sport will broadcast a regular season game from the National League North for the first time when Kidderminster Harriers welcome on-song Chester. Then on Sunday it’s Braintree for Dulwich Hamlet in the South.

There’s tons of big games on Tuesday and Unibet have picked out the matches to keep a close eye on.

Scarborough Athletic vs Peterborough Sports - National League North

What is it they say about being wary of the quiet ones?

After earning promotion, there weren’t too many tipping Scarborough Athletic and Peterborough Sports for promotion. But they both sit happily in the top seven - and want to stay there!

The sixth-place Seadogs have scored more than anyone else in the division and have ten more than leaders Brackley Town.

But Peterborough Sports love a clean sheet. It’s three in a row after great victories over Hereford, Farsley Celtic and Leamington so whoever plays to their strength could win through on Tuesday.

Worthing vs Ebbsfleet United - National League South

On one hand Fleet were very thankful that Worthing obliterated their title rivals Havant & Waterlooville 5-1 on Saturday.

Then they remembered they have to go and play there on Tuesday!

It was probably the result of the season, Callum Kealy netting a hat-trick as a counter-attacking masterclass blew the Hawks to pieces.

But has Adam Hinshelwood’s team got another massive performance in the tank?

Kealy has scored in his last five matches but despite some good results, it’s Worthing home form that is letting them down a little, with just three wins on their own patch so far.

Ebbsfleet went back to the top after beating Slough Town, the other Rebels on Saturday.

They have yet to lose away from home but head coach Dennis Kutrieb certainly knows the score.

He thinks this could be the club’s toughest assignment of the season so far.

But if they can get three points on the south coast after Worthing’s great win on Saturday, it will send out a serious message.

It’s going to be an eventful night!
