Two New Pilgrims

Vanarama National League North club Boston United have completed...

....the signing of powerful French midfielder Stephane Ngamvoulou on an initial month’s loan from National League South side Whitehawk.

The 27-year-old, who played and scored against the Pilgrims for Hednesford Town on January 23rd, is linking up with Dennis Greene’s promotion-chasing side for the next month on loan from the Hawks.

Ngamvoulou scored twice in four appearances for Frank Sinclair’s Hednesford side - and is eligible to make his United debut against Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday.

He played for Staines Town during the course of the last two seasons and had previously represented Romorantin in his homeland between 2011 and 2013.

United have also signed highly-rated Ilkeston FC captain Joe Burgess on a permanent basis.

The 19-year-old centre-half, who turns 20 on March 2nd, has put pen-to-paper to complete his move from the New Manor Ground.

The former Peterborough United youngster, who has also played for Histon and Fleetwood Town, could feature for the first time in Amber & Black when the Pilgrims entertain Stalybridge at The Jakemans Stadium.
