Two Go - One Stays at Harriers

Kidderminster Harriers` head coach Dave Hockaday has confirmed...

...that both defender Rob Taylor and striker George Obosu have left Aggborough.

Taylor signed non-contract forms with the club back in pre-season but missed much of the summer campaign and the first half of the season with an ankle injury.

He recently returned to training but remains plagued by the problem.

Hockaday commented: "Rob, who is a good professional, did come in to training with us but is still having some issues with his ankle. He told me he did not feel he'd be able to manage full-time training because of it and was most likely going to have to stop playing at that level."

Obosu made a few first-team appearances for the club having joined on a short-term basis.

Hockaday added: "We feel George is a player with a lot of potential and we are monitoring his progress - at the moment he needs to be back with his family who are in London and as a club we recognise that, and wish him well."

Meanwhile, Harriers have confirmed that winger James McQuilkin has signed a contract until the end of the season.

The former Walsall man signed non-contract terms at Aggborough last month and has made five appearances, starting the last four games.

He's now penned a short-term contract with Harriers that runs until the end of the campaign.
