Truelove Finishes Successful Loan Spell

...talented defender Jack Truelove for the visit of Boston United on Saturday.

The young Oldham Athletic full-back has returned to the Sky Bet League One outfit following a hugely successful loan-spell which saw The Nash win three and draw one of their last four fixtures.

Truelove’s departure now opens the door for Connor Hampson to reclaim the no. 3 shirt for The Nash after being sidelined through a hamstring injury.

However, the door is likely to be left ajar for Truelove to return in the future.

Still only 19, the gifted Latics’ defender could well be the target of other National League clubs wishing to take advantage of the youth loan option until, potentially, the end of the season.

Truelove made his Football League debut for the Latics against Leyton Orient at the age of just 17, and has already gained National League first-team experience with the likes of Stalybridge Celtic, Colwyn Bay and Brackley Town and now Curzon Ashton.

Insiders believe that this will give the Burnley-born defender the physical presence to take his game to the next level.
