Top Scorers: Vanarama National League North

By Sam Elliott

There were some big movers in the National League North scoring charts this week as the division with the most goals continued that trend.

Two scorers shot up the table - with highly-rated Jason Gilchrist, FC United’s big prospect, climbing to 11 goals.

He did it thanks to his fantastic performances against AFC Telford and on Tuesday vs Alfreton at Broadhurst Park.

Aaron Williams did similar - he was on fire for Brackley and thanks to two goals against Southport on Tuesday he skipped five places in the chart.

It’s now ten goals a piece for Ashley Chambers of Nuneaton, also Glen Taylor from Spennymoor Town and York’s evergreen Jon Parkin.

But some way ahead of the rest are Stockport County striker Jason Oswell, with 14, and sitting just one goal behind, Blyth marksman Dan Maguire.

Will they still be out in front After Saturday’s action? Let’s see what the weekend brings!
