The National League Board Speak With UCFB Students

By Steve Whitney

Members of staff from UCFB partners, The National League, spoke today with students at the Etihad Campus about life in non-League football.

Chief Executive Michael Tattersall, who is also a member of UCFB’s Employability & Enhancement panel, Operations Director Colin Peake and Registrations & Events Manager Louise Edwards took questions from students, and explained their roles within the organisation and detailed further how UCFB students can get involved with the league and its clubs.

The panel was hosted by Dr Brian Barwick, a member of UCFB’s Employability & Enhancement panel and chairman of the National League.

Barwick said: “This partnership represents a great opportunity for all 68 of our clubs and the students of UCFB. Not only will students be able to learn and adapt vital skills crucial to the football industry and their future careers, but our clubs will benefit from added behind the scenes assistance and guidance from a number of skilled and willing individuals”.
