The Latest Draws For The FA Trophy Have Today Been Made

By Sam Elliott

The National League side have now entered the FA Trophy fray after the latest draws were announced.

The third round is due to take place on Saturday December 19 - and clubs have some idea of what’s ahead after the Wembley announcement.

But with the second round still to take place, there is a lot still to be decided.

National League North and National League South will begin their journeys on Tuesday December 15 and they now know who they will take on.

Curzon Ashton and AFC Fylde meet, while Bath City and Chelmsford City clash swords.

Dorking Wanderers and Hungerford Town will face off and there is an Essex derby between Billericay Town and Braintree Town.

Then the third round moves into view.

There are a couple of all-National League ties with FC Halifax Town taking on Hartlepool United.

Wealdstone will welcome Eastleigh, while Weymouth will go head-to-head Maidenhead United before Christmas.

Solihull Moors will meanwhile meet either Gateshead or Farsley Celtic, and Stockport County take on Guiseley or Chorley.

Winners of the third round games will earn £4,500 from the prize pot, with the losing sides banking a cheque for £1,250.
