The First Match Of The Weekend Has Already Fallen

By Sam Elliott

We have already lost a game this weekend as the weather takes a turn for the worst.

York City's match against Southport is off due to a waterlogged pitch.

The National League North game is off after heavy rain in Yorkshire - and it may not be the last.

There are other pitch inspections already planned up and down the country.

With temperatures falling too overnight, more games could be lost it's feared.

Of course we will keep you fully up to date as soon as we know.
